Penney Lab

A couple of days ago, we did a penny lab. Our materials were water droppers, pennies, and water. What we did is pick up water in the water droppers. Then, we drop water doplets onto the penny, one drop at a time. I tried it 4 times. These are my results.

The secret is to do it slowly and carefully. The water property that kept it together I thought was surface tension. It keeps the water stuck together so it doesn't fall apart until a large enough force pulls it apart or there is too much water and it can't keep together.
