1. What is the water cycle?

The water cycle is the process that water travels trough the environment that has the sun as a source of energy.

2. Does the water cycle have a beginning or end?

It doesn't have a beginning and an end because it keeps moving. It evaporates, then condenses, percipitates, then it runs off the land, and then it starts all over again without even stopping.

3. Starting with a puddle on a sunny day, describe how water might move through the water cycle and eventually fall back as rain.

If it starts as a puddle, then the water would evaporate into the air. Then it condenses into a little cloud. The water becomes condensed and falls out of the air as percipitation as rain, sleet, or snow. It gets back onto the ground in a different place and then runs off. Then it starts all over again.
