The Science of Rockets

NASA used Atlas rockets to launch probes into space into space since the late 1950's. They are made of 3 stages . The rockets were used for other missions, but were upgraded since then.


The Space Program

NASA made many visits to space. During Apollo 13, astronauts were struggling with air, water, and power. One oxygen tank blew up and one module had to pull the other one around the moon, and back down to Earth. Then, NASA returned to space to photograph stuff, but this time, it was uncrewed.

Exploring Space Today

A little robot, used by the ISS, can move by itself, monitor air quality, temperature, and pressure. It helps astronauts by alerting them to any problem. It also has a "video phone" letting astronauts communicate to each other.


Using Space Science on Earth

Many things go because of the space program. It supports many jobs. Exploration of space is an inspiration to people to explore the unknown.
